Trump: No Apologies to Fake News Outrage Over Immigrants

President Donald Trump has refused to be distracted by the disinformation campaign being waged by the leftist media attempting to stick Obama-era policies to the his administration.

POTUS is taking the high ground and the most important one by focusing on the real child exploitation going on here, that being perpetuated by human traffickers at the invitation of the Obama administration.

And now he’s challenging Capitol Hill Democrats to actually put their votes where their mouths are by passing his immigration priorities which will secure the border and end the lawful practice of separating minors from those who are illegally immigrating whether be they relatives, strangers or traffickers.

Novel concept.

Here’s more from Daily Caller…

President Donald Trump forcefully drew a red line on his administration’s separation of illegal immigrant families by challenging Democratic lawmakers to pass his immigration priorities, which would also end the practice.

Hollywood Isn’t Supportive of Abortion?

Feminists who embrace the “right” to abortion — the right to destroy an unborn life on a woman’s demand at any point in pregnancy — just will not accept they are powerful enough in Hollywood. Abortion scenes in TV and movies need to be more “educational” and end the “stigma” of violence against unborn babies, such as being torn to pieces and feeling the pain of being chemically burned to pieces. Both things have been proved true after the 20-week period, yet it remains a “stigma” against their mothers.

This lecture came again during a recent panel discussion at the ATX Festival in Austin, Texas, titled “Her Body, Her Choice.” Rina Mimoun, who scripted an abortion plot for the drama “Everwood” back in 2003, is still upset the main doctor character on the show wasn’t an abortionist, as they wanted. She’s upset that abortion is relegated to a Very Special Episode.

“The goal for all of it — network, streaming, everything — is to stop making it the one-off episode or the arc,” Mimoun said. “It would be nice if it was just part of the conversation and didn’t have to be so special and so earnest and so important.”

Earth to Mimoun: Tearing an unborn baby apart limb by limb is important. People earnestly oppose it as monstrous. You may want to treat it as similar to a tooth extraction, but it’s not.

Her feminist ideal came on the CW show “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” A woman has an abortion, and the pizza delivery driver rings her doorbell. In response, her son says, “Mom, I’ll get it, since you just had an abortion.”

Here’s the problem: If abortion should completely lack drama, why would you need to put it in a drama?

“Everyone is so afraid to be earnest or afraid to be like preachy or teach-y. … they’d rather be salacious,” Mimoun said. “They’re trying to shock you into watching their shows and there aren’t as many people that are (embracing) the challenge of educating. It’s an opportunity that we have.” To anyone milking the subject for ratings, “shame on you,” she said.

So, one minute this woman’s upset that abortion episodes are too earnest, and then suddenly, she’s complaining everyone’s afraid to be earnest? The only check on Hollywood’s “opportunities” to educate/indoctrinate is viewers’ clicking to another channel.

Mimoun’s not really against “salacious” episodes, since she liked the shocking abortion-at-Christmas plot on ABC’s “Scandal,” when the main character, Olivia Pope, had an abortion to the soundtrack of a gospel choir singing “Silent Night.” Then, Pope celebrated at the episode’s end with a glass of wine and Stevie Wonder singing “Ave Maria.”

According to the Austin Chronicle, Mimoun added a complaint about male showrunners in Hollywood telling her they don’t want an abortion plot because it’s a “women’s issue.” Another panelist, Hulu series “East Los High” writer Mauricio Mota, replied, “That drives me insane,” since men are half of the equation. “Is it God who put the baby in the belly?”

In Hollywood, that’s not a serious theological question. That’s a laugh line. But they don’t really want a male opinion on abortion — if it’s not fully supportive.

Mota accused Hollywood of being uptight and sexist. Why aren’t there enough abortions on TV? “It’s about controlling women,” Mota asserted. “Abortion is just one of the facets of society’s search to control women.”

In reality, every Hollywood writer thinking about an abortion scene is going to be controlled enough to consult with Planned Parenthood to make it “right.” These lecturers are all about what the campaign consultants call “message discipline.” They want pro-abortion talking points and never, ever a debate.

When was the last time you watched a mother on TV, pressured to have an abortion, choose to keep her unborn child because it is the morally right thing to do?

NRA Already Being Blamed for TX School Shooting

Another school shooting — this one among the worst in Texas history — and anti-gun lefties are already blaming the NRA for the death of at least 8 people at Santa Fe High School.

Members of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence posted on their website the members of Congress who have accepted contributions from the NRA.

There’s just one problem: the crazed young man in custody for the shooting had obtained the weapons illegally.

In other words, gun laws can’t stop those with criminal intent from breaking laws. There’s one thing that WILL stop them: guns in the hands of not-crazy people.

Plus, as a result of all the noise the gun-grabbers have been making, gun sales and the membership rolls of the NRA have been exploding.

Note to the left: you’re doing it wrong.

Here’s more from Daily Caller…

Roughly an hour after at least eight people died in a high school shooting in Texas, The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) implicated the National Rifle Association (NRA) in the tragedy.

The CSGV tweeted out a list lawmakers in Texas’ Congressional delegation who have accepted contributions from the NRA, along with “#SantaFeHighSchool.”

Authorities responded to a shooting at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas, at roughly 8 a.m. Friday morning. One male suspect is in custody while another male has been detained as a person of interest. Both are students enrolled in the school, according to authorities.

The CSGV is “dedicated to taking on the NRA and their toxic agenda. We were the first gun violence prevention group to use the term ‘insurrectionism’ to describe the NRA’s dangerous interpretation of the Second Amendment,” according to the group’s website.

Report: Trump to Cut Off Planned Parenthood Funding

The federal fight over abortion may be heating up very quickly on the Hill.

While everyone is waiting with baited breath to learn whether Justice Kennedy will retire, congressional conservatives have been pressing the Trump administration to use an executive order to ban taxpayer dollars going to Planned Parenthood (which amount to half a billion of them).

And reports say they’re getting a green light.

Though such a decision would likely end up with a court injunction and a fight all the way to the Supremes, it would almost certainly ignite the issue for the November election and force Democrats to defend Planned Parenthood…which is a losing prospect.

We’ll keep you posted.

Here’s more from the Hill…

The Trump administration may take action to cut federal funding to Planned Parenthood as a result of pressure from congressional Republicans and anti-abortion lobbyists.

Opponents of abortion have launched an all-out campaign urging the administration to bring back Reagan-era abortion restrictions on federal family planning dollars that would target Planned Parenthood.

The regulations would ban organizations that receive family planning dollars under the Title X Family Planning Program, which funds organizations providing services like birth control to low-income women and men, from promoting abortion or referring patients for abortions.

Former President Reagan first issued the regulations, which Democrats describe as a “domestic gag rule,” in 1988. They also require a physical and financial separation of Title X funding recipients from abortion providers.

Judge Strikes Down California Assisted-Suicide Law

California’s insistence on allowing doctors to send patients to a premature death has hit a brick wall this week after a state judge struck down the state’s 2016 End of Life Option Act.

California was among latest (very blue) states to jump onto the bandwagon in deciding when a sick or elderly person’s life is no longer ‘quality’ and therefore worthy of ‘death with dignity’.

But the dark underside of the policy stinks of the sort of euthanasia policies that aren’t too far removed from the Third Reich.

Insurance agencies have routinely offered to pay for cheap assisted suicide pills instead of costly life-saving surgery.

And it’s been demonstrated already that folks without insurance or with mental disability are routinely coaxed into ‘no longer being a burden’ to family and friends.

Assisted suicide is really nothing more than soft-eugenics, and it’s high time we send the policy to an untimely death, across the board.

Here’s more from Daily Caller…

A California state judge struck down a law allowing doctors to prescribe life-ending drugs to terminally ill adult patients Tuesday, ending the state’s 2016 attempt to legalize euthanasia.

California’s End of Life Option Act passed the legislature in 2016 amid fierce backlash from those claiming it was immoral, CNN reported Wednesday. Judge Daniel Ottolia’s ruling did not pertain to the content of the law, however. He instead ruled in unconstitutional on a procedural basis because it was passed during a special session convened by Gov. Jerry Brown. The ruling comes less than a month after the U.K. ordered the death of toddler Alfie Evans in April, shocking the world.

Adult, terminally ill patients should have the right to decide their life is no longer worth living and “die with dignity,” proponents of assisted suicide argue. The laws force doctors to harm their patients and can make patients feel pressured to commit suicide to cut costs for their families, critics counter.

‘Expert’: Get Consent Before Changing Baby’s Diaper

With triple-x material on the web consuming fully a third of the traffic globally, it’s not a surprise that exploitation of women is all the rage these days.

Morally vacuous reprobates like Harvey Weinstein and his predator friends have been destroyed as the whole Hollywood house of cards came crashing down.

And it’s a good thing. But in usual fashion, the radical left has taken a good thing and completely twisted it beyond recognition.

Now it’s non compos mentis on parade. Enter an Australian ‘expert’ who argues that consent should be given by babies before their diapers can be changed.

No, we’re not kidding.

This is me-too on crack cocaine.

Next up for the left is required consent before you can walk your dog.

Here’s more from PJ Media…

The flowering of the #MeToo movement against sexual assault has brought many abusers to justice, but the emphasis on consent can go way too far. One sexuality expert in Australia illustrated the absurdity of the overemphasis on consent by suggesting that a parent should seek his or her baby’s consent before changing a diaper (called a “nappy” in Australia).

“I’m going to change your nappy now? Is that okay?” Deanne Carson, founder of Body Safety Australia, suggested in remarks to ABC News. “Of course, the baby’s not going to respond, ‘Yes, mom, that’s awesome. I’d love to have my nappy changed.’ But if you leave a space and wait for body language, and wait to make eye contact, then you’re letting that child know that their response matters.”

Redstate GOP Governor Vetoes Constitutional Carry

Despite that the NRA’s membership rolls have exploded on the heels of the left’s hit-job after the Parkland shooting, it’s not all guns and roses.

On Friday, Second Amendment supporters saw a massive setback when deep-redstate Gov. Mary Fallin of Oklahoma vetoed a constitutional carry measure that would have made the state the thirteenth to allow gun owners the right to carry without the need for a permit.

Fallin cited the benefits of the existing permitting process along with the training requirement as necessary for public safety.

But the NRA blasted her as anti-Second Amendment and vowed to take up the bill again next year under a “genuinely pro-Second Amendment governor.”

The question no one is asking is obvious: where are all the mass shootings in the states that have already instituted constitutional carry?

Here’s more from Daily Caller…

Republican Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin vetoed legislation Friday that would’ve allowed anyone in the state to carry firearms without a permit, claiming the current barriers to getting a gun are “few and reasonable.”

Fallin stressed that she is a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and owns firearms herself, but she claimed removing the permit requirement would have an adverse effect on policing.

“SB 1212 eliminates the current ability of Oklahoma law enforcement to distinguish between those carrying guns who have been trained and vetted, and those who have not,” Fallin said in a statement. “Oklahomans believe that law-abiding individuals should be able to defend themselves. I believe the firearms requirement we currently have in state law are few and reasonable. Senate Bill 1212 eliminates the training requirements for persons carrying a firearm in Oklahoma. It reduces the level of the background check necessary to carry a gun.”

Gun-Grab: Fallout Continues for Dick’s Sporting Goods

Recall shortly after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, Dick’s Sporting Goods immediately yanked ‘assault rifles’ from its shelves and announced they’d stop selling rifles to anyone under the age of 21.

Of course, we saw the writing on the wall despite that Dick’s and the heads of their subsidiary Field & Stream were oblivious what was sure to happen next.

There was an uproar among hunters, sportsmen and Second Amendment supporters who announced boycotts.

Then this week, Dick’s really stepped in it.

Word leaked out that the corporation had hired a lobbyist to push gun control legislation on Capitol Hill.

That ill-fated move has now prompted the Mossberg corporation — the oldest gun manufacturer in the country — to pull guns from Dick’s shelves.

Mossberg is joined by MKS Supply, another gun maker, in the selling freeze.

Dick’s move could cost them millions in lost sales. Good.

Here’s more from Hotair…

O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. has ended their relationship with Dick’s Sporting Goods and it’s subsidiary Field and Stream. This action was caused by the company’s hiring of gun control lobbyists last month. Mossberg issued a press release Wednesday explaining the decision.

Effective immediately, O.F. Mossberg & Sons will not accept any future orders from Dick’s Sporting Goods or Field &
Stream, and is in the process of evaluating current contractual agreements.

“It has come to our attention that Dick’s Sporting Goods recently hired lobbyists on Capitol Hill to promote additional gun control,” said Iver Mossberg, Chief Executive Officer of O.F. Mossberg & Sons. “Make no mistake, Mossberg is a staunch supporter of the U.S. Constitution and our Second Amendment rights, and we fully disagree with Dick’s Sporting Goods’ recent anti-Second Amendment actions.”

O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. is the oldest family-owned firearms manufacturer in America, founded in 1919. Mossberg is also the largest pump-action shotgun manufacturer in the world. MKS Supply, a manufacturer of Hi-Point firearms, announced their decision to do the same just the day before.

“We believe that refusing to sell long guns to adults under age 21, while many young adults in our military are not similarly restricted, is wrong. We believe that villainizing modern sporting rifles in response to pressure from uninformed, anti-gun voices is wrong,” MKS Supply president Charles Brown wrote in the Tuesday statement. “We believe that hiring lobbyists to oppose American citizens’ freedoms secured by the Second Amendment is wrong. Dick’s Sporting Goods and Field & Stream, in purportedly doing all of these things, have demonstrated that they do not share our values. [We’re] standing by the American people by refusing any further sales to Dick’s Sporting Goods & Field & Stream.”

NAACP: Mandatory Bias Testing for Everyone

Racism is bad, and, yes, it still exists. Okay, now that we have that out of the way, ‘racialism’ is just as bad.

What the heck is ‘racialism’, you ask?

It’s the inability to view any subject from any perspective except race.

And obsessive racialism might explain why the NAACP now, according to the organization’s president, believes anyone who serves in a public capacity ought to undergo what’s called a mandatory Implicit Bias Test.

It’s a test that claims to show whether a person harbors unconscious racial bias.

The problem — aside from the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution — is that it’s an inherently flawed test that produces rampant false negatives.

It’s a page right out of a George Orwell book.

In other words, for the NAACP, it’s 1984 all over again.

Here’s more from Hotair…

NAACP President Derrick Johnson wrote a piece for USAToday yesterday announcing that his organization was calling for mandatory implicit bias testing for all public officials. Implicit bias testing is a method which claims to be able to detect subconscious bias within individuals’ thought processes (more on that in a moment). While Johnson didn’t call for mandatory testing of everyone, he thinks testing everyone is a good idea.

Everyone should get tested for implicit bias, and if you’re a public official or receiving public dollars — it should be mandatory. It’s just a matter of time before another black person is abused, arrested, or shot dead for flying, golfing, driving, walking or drinking coffee “while black.”…

While the United States has a very long history with explicit bias and state-sponsored racism, we are only partially committed to believing the extent to which our internal biases impacts us subconsciously. We are unable to grasp that implicit bias functions like a powdered drug stirred into our societal drink and continuously seeping out our societal pores, ranging from law enforcement to education to religion, entertainment and media. It’s like our shadow and travels with all of us everywhere we go, regardless of our self-proclaimed objectivity or colorblindness…

The NAACP is calling for an expansion of the movement to demand mandatory testing for implicit bias, particularly for officials paid with public dollars. For major corporations, implicit bias training must become a part of corporate responsibility rather than always as a response to video-taped intolerance.

This is the beginning of a movement designed to awaken the soul of our nation in ways that not only make us better people, but also a society where we are both accountable for what we know as well as what we are unaware of.

Pelosi May Have Just Lost the Election for Dems

San Fran Nancy Pelosi continues to be her own worst enemy…and that of her party. She’s been ecstatic about the possibility that she might become Speaker once again, but she seems to keep forgetting that one doesn’t help the cause by saying stupid things.

Enter the recent Politico Playbook event the other day in which Pelosi was interviewed about a number of things, including the prospect of Democrats retaking the House.

Moderators relayed the charge by Republicans that Dems will institute single-payer health care and raise taxes if in control again.

Pelosi’s mic-drop response: “The second part is accurate.”

That massive slapping sound was the collective facepalm of all the Dems up for reelection in red-states where the prospect of tax hikes are reflexively met with voters’ outrage.

Good luck, Nancy.

Here’s more from Hotair…

Is this the tweet that launched a thousand campaign ads, and burnt the topless towers of Democratic midterm ambitions? If the Republican Party and/or the National Republican Congressional Committee doesn’t cut a version of Nancy Pelosi’s remarks at today’s Politico Playbook interview for every contested House race, they should get sued for incompetence. Jake Sherman asks Pelosi about GOP claims that a Democratic House majority would pass a single-payer health care system and raise taxes. “The second part is accurate,” Pelosi replied:

The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake points out that Pelosi continues to be her own worst enemy:

Nancy Pelosi clearly wants to be speaker again, and she’s on the cusp of reclaiming that perch. But someone appears to be standing in her way: Nancy Pelosi. …

While PolitiFact ruled a month ago that claims Pelosi had pledged to raise taxes were only “half true,” Pelosi seemed to just confirm that’s her plan. Most any politician knows that when you are asked whether you want to “raise taxes,” the next words out of your mouth probably shouldn’t be “Yes.” You talk around it. You massage it. Republicans passed this bill partially in hopes that Democrats would be baited into running against tax cuts and for raising taxes, and Pelosi seems to be obliging them.

None of this is to say this is a fatal blow for Pelosi’s hopes to become speaker. And she’s certainly done her party plenty of good on that front, most notably with her fundraising. But Democrats need to win in red areas to take back the House, and her message seems to be significantly different than the one the candidates who will decide that desire.
